Regular Season Round 34: KCC Egis - Seoul Thunders 79-73

There was no surprise in Jeonju where 10th ranked Seoul Thunders (12-33) were defeated by sixth ranked KCC Egis (19-25) 79-73 on Wednesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. KCC Egis looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-1992) chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Anthony Morse (206-1994, college: Tenn Tech, agency: SLN) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and center Weon-Seok Lee (203-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Five Seoul Thunders players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KCC Egis have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 19-25 record, which they share with Suwon KT. Seoul Thunders lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 33 lost games. KCC Egis will meet at home league's second-placed LG Sakers in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Seoul Thunders will play against the league's leader Anyang (#1) and hope to secure a win.
