The game in Taichung was also worth to mention about. Third ranked GhostHawks (11-8) played at the court of 5th ranked Suns (6-11). GhostHawks managed to secure a 7-point victory 91-84. GhostHawks outrebounded Suns 57-36 including a 46-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Suns were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds.
