Very significant was Yulon Luxgen's (#1, 7-4) victory against 3rd placed Taiwan Beer (5-6) 77-70. Yulon Luxgen players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-1986, college: UAB, agency: Project B Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Min-Hao Ke (180-1992) accounted for 10 points and 8 assists for the winning side. Guard Tzu-Kang Wang (183-1993) came up with 16 points and 6 assists and Nigerian forward Gabriel Humphery (195-1997) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Taiwan Beer in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen maintains first place with 7-4 record, which they share with Bank of Taiwan. Taiwan Beer lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with six games lost. Yulon Luxgen will play against league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiwan Beer will play against Changhua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
