Regular Season Round 22: Kings - Lioneers 102-85

An exciting game was when First ranked Kings faced 4th ranked Lioneers. Kings (15-5) defeated Lioneers (10-14) 102-85. Kings forced 21 Lioneers turnovers and outrebounded them 71-46 including a 23-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) had a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 24 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side Canadian forward Anthony Bennett (203-1993, college: UNLV) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 23 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the former international forward Hsun-Yi Hsiao (192-1992) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kings maintains first position with 15-5 record. Lioneers lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 14 games lost. Kings will meet league's second-placed Pilots in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lioneers will play against Dreamers in Changhua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
