Regular Season Round 7: Bank of Taiwan - Taiwan Beer 76-81

An interesting game for Taiwan Beer (4-3) which played against their biggest opponent Bank of Taiwan (4-3). Third ranked Taiwan Beer managed to get a 5-point victory 81-76. Taiwan Beer made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Bank of Taiwan turnovers. It was a great evening for Sheng Huo who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds (made all of his seventeen free throws !!!). Guard Tzu-Kang Wang (183-1993) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side swingman You-Hsu Chen (195-1990) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and American Max Mahoney (203-1998, college: Boston U.) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Taiwan Beer moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Bank of Taiwan. Taiwan Beer will play against league's leader Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play against Changhua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
