KBL top team - Anyang (33-11) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked KCC Egis (16-24) 88-79. They outrebounded KCC Egis 44-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. The former international guard Junhyeong Byeon (186-1996) nailed 26 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Yeong-Sang Bakg (180-1990) added 14 points respectively for KCC Egis in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anyang have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 33-11 record. KCC Egis lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 24 games lost. Anyang will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KCC Egis will play on the road against Goyang (#5) in Daegu and hope to get back on the winning track.
