Very predictable result when fourth ranked Mobis Phoebus (24-17) won against 9th ranked KoGas (13-27) in Inchon 84-77 on Thursday. Mobis Phoebus forced 20 KoGas turnovers. The winners were led by American forward Gaige Prim (203-1999, college: Missouri St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and the former international center Jae-Sok Jang (205-1991) supported him with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Even 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) did not help to save the game for KoGas. American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Mobis Phoebus moved-up to third place. KoGas lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 27 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will meet at home Suwon KT (#6) in the next round. KoGas will play against KCC Egis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
