Rather expected game when 6th ranked Suwon KT (18-23) lost to fourth ranked Seoul Knights (24-18) in Busan 82-91 on Tuesday. The winners were led by American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) supported him with 16 points and 6 assists. Four Seoul Knights players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by the former international center Yoongi Ha (203-1999) did not help to save the game for Suwon KT. Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (207-1990, college: Ball St.) added 15 points for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 24-18 record. Loser Suwon KT keeps the sixth place with 23 games lost. Seoul Knights will meet at home league's leader Anyang in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Suwon KT will play against Mobis Phoebus (#3) in Ulsan and hope to secure a win.
