Bottom-ranked Seoul Thunders managed to get a twelfth victory on Monday night. This time they won against seventh-ranked Wonju DB 83-77. Seoul Thunders made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Seoul Thunders outrebounded Wonju DB 52-35 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American forward Anthony Morse (206-1994, college: Tenn Tech, agency: SLN) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import center Darral Willis (205-1996, college: Wichita St.) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Seoul Thunders players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 7 rebounds by the former international center Jongkyu Kim (207-1991) did not help to save the game for Wonju DB. Forward Seung-Wook Choi (194-1993) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Seoul Thunders maintains tenth position with 12-29 record. Wonju DB lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 21 games lost. Seoul Thunders will meet higher ranked Goyang (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Wonju DB will play against Seoul Knights and hope to secure a win.
