Regular Season Round 22: Taichung Suns - Taoyuan L. 90-110

Bottom-ranked Leopards managed to get a second victory, breaking the ten-game losing streak. This time they outleveled fifth-ranked Suns in Taichung 110-90. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 20-point difference suggests that Leopards is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. They made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Leopards players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). American center Dwight Howard (211-1985) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Sheng-Ju Ting (174-1998, college: St.Francis, IL) added 21 points and 4 assists in the effort for Suns. Five Leopards and four Suns players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leopards maintains sixth position with 2-11 record. Suns lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. Leopards will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Suns will play on the road against TB Herobears (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
