Regular Season Round 32: Tokyo Utd - Tokyo HT 76-73

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Tokyo Utd (21-13) edged at home 10th ranked Tokyo HT (11-23) 76-73 on Friday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tokyo Utd made 7 blocks. The winners were led by South Sudanese-American center Angelo Chol (206-1993, college: SDSU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) supported him with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Tokyo HT. Kodai Takahashi (180-1991) added 8 points and 9 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Tokyo Utd moved-up to sixth place. Tokyo HT lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 23 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
