Regular Season Round 12: Dewa United - Bumi Borneo 81-60

The most important game in the last round took place in Surabaya between third ranked Bumi Borneo (5-2) and fourth ranked Dewa United (6-1) on Wednesday night. Bumi Borneo was crushed by Dewa United on the road 81-60. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Dewa United outrebounded Bumi Borneo 50-38 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American Anthony Johnson (203-1988, college: Fairfield) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Dewa United players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Cameron Ridley (206-1993, college: Texas) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Agam Subastian (165-1997) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dewa United moved-up to second place, which they share with Pelita Jaya. Bumi Borneo at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Rans Pik. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
