Regular Season Round 12: Satya Wacana - Rans Pik 60-76

Bottom-ranked Satya Wacana (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 76-60 loss to seventh ranked Rans Pik (5-2) in Salatiga. Rans Pik outrebounded Satya Wacana 37-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Jamaican-American Akeem Scott (180-1983, college: High Point) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 4 assists. The former international Valentino Wuwungan (192-1989) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Shemar Johnson (204-1996, college: Stillman) replied with 20 points and 7 steals and guard Henry Lakay (196-1998) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Satya Wacana. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rans Pik have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Bumi Borneo. Satya Wacana at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
