Regular Season Round 10: Dewa United - Satya Wacana 79-72

Bottom-ranked Satya Wacana is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to fifth ranked Dewa United (5-1) 79-72 on Monday evening. Dewa United dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Satya Wacana's 24. Dewa United forced 21 Satya Wacana turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Satya Wacana helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Lucky Pasondok (180-1996) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Shemar Johnson (204-1996, college: Stillman) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Febrianus Khiandio (181-1999) added 20 points in the effort for Satya Wacana. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dewa United moved-up to second place, which they share with Bumi Borneo. Satya Wacana at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
