Regular Season Round 25: KCC Egis - KoGas 67-72

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked KCC Egis (15-18) lost to ninth ranked KoGas (13-18) in Jeonju 67-72 on Tuesday. The former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) nailed 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Dae-Heon Lee (198-1992) accounted for 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) came up with 9 points and 14 rebounds and guard Chang-Young Jung (192-1988) added 21 points respectively for KCC Egis in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. KoGas maintains ninth place with 13-18 record. KCC Egis lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 18 games lost. KoGas will meet at home higher ranked Seoul Knights (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KCC Egis will play against Wonju DB and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
