The game in Surabaya supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Singapore Singapore S. (5-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Indonesian Louvre S. (1-7). Singapore S. smashed Louvre S. 138-83 on Wednesday. Singapore S. dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Louvre S.'s 38. They outrebounded Louvre S. 48-26 including a 33-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Singapore S. shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 48 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Louvre S.'s players. It was a great evening for American swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. His fellow American import forward Xavier Alexander (196-1988, college: S.Nazarene) helped adding 25 points, 5 rebounds, 15 assists and 5 steals. Five Singapore S. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Marcus Hammonds (196-1987, college: TAMUCC) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and American-Indonesian Jamarr Johnson (198-1988, college: Widener) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Louvre S.'s coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Singapore S.. They maintain fourth place with 5-3 record. Louvre S. lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Tigers.
