Regular Season Round 27: Gifu - Shinagawa 92-76

Very predictable result when eighth ranked Gifu (12-16) won against at home bottom-ranked Shinagawa (1-27) 92-76. They outrebounded Shinagawa 45-25 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Gifu players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Shinagawa's players. Shinagawa was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Jerrell Wright (204-1991, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Noah Dahlman (202-1989, college: Wofford) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Daiki Uematsu (187-1990) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gifu maintains eighth place with 12-16 record. Shinagawa lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 27 lost games. Gifu will play against Kanazawa (#10) in Ishikawa in the next round. Shinagawa will play at home against Toyoda (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
