Regular Season Round 15: Mitsubishi K. - Yamanashi QB 87-70

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Mitsubishi K. (13-2) beat 12th ranked Yamanashi QB (3-12) in Nagoya 87-70 on Saturday. Mitsubishi K. looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Nemoto Haruno (176-1995) who led the winners and scored 20 points. The former international center Risa Nishioka (186-1997) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Moeno Oka (176-1993) came up with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Aika Watanabe (177-1995) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Yamanashi QB in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mitsubishi K. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-2 record behind leader Toyota A. Yamanashi QB lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 12 games lost.
