Regular Season Round 15: Aranmare A. - Himeji E. 56-60

Bottom-ranked Himeji E. managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of twelve consecutive losses. This time newly promoted Himeji E. won against tenth-ranked Aranmare A. in Akita 60-56. It was a great evening for Minami Shirasaki (166-1996) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Saori Yoshida (158-1984) helped adding 18 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Asuka Hiramatsu (162-1994) with 9 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and Airi Kitagawa (172-1998) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Himeji E. maintains fourteenth place with 2-13 record. Aranmare A. lost fourth consecutive game. Aranmare A. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. Himeji E. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aranmare A. will play again at home against Himeji E. (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
