First defeat of league's leader Vietnamese Heat (4-1) against fourth ranked Singapore Singapore S. (3-2) 84-83 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Heat. Singapore S. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Heat's 28. They outrebounded Heat 47-30 including a 22-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Xavier Alexander (196-1988, college: S.Nazarene) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Singapore S. players scored in double figures. Power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) answered with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Evan Gilyard II (178-1998, college: UMKC) added 20 points and 6 assists in the effort for Heat. Singapore S. moved-up to third place, which they share with NS Matrix and Zamboanga. Defending Vietnamese champion Heat still keeps top position with one game lost. They were joined at the leadership position by HK Eastern who have the same record.
