Regular Season Round 15: Dynamo - Atlas 101-62

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Dynamo as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Dynamo smashed 7th ranked Atlas in Beirut 101-62. Dynamo dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Atlas' 28 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Atlas 44-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. Dynamo looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Atlas' players. It was a good game for international power forward Karim Ezzeddine (206-1997, college: N.Mexico) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Zach Lofton (193-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Dynamo players scored in double figures. Dynamo's coach Jad El Hajj felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Myles Carter (185-1999, college: Delaware St.) answered with 25 points and Pierre Fakhry added 14 points in the effort for Atlas. Dynamo (12-1) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Atlas at the other side dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with NSA.
