An exciting game was when Taiyuan Textile faced Chunghwa Telecom. Taiyuan Textile smashed Chunghwa Telecom 81-57. They outrebounded Chunghwa Telecom 46-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Taiyuan Textile looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Hsiao-Tong Peng (168-1998) who scored 19 points and 7 assists. The former international center Tieh Lin (182-1999) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Taiyuan Textile players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) produced 12 points and Shi-Zan Xu added 11 points respectively for Taiyuan Textile. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiyuan Textile is looking forward to face Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chunghwa Telecom will play against Taipower and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
