Regular Season Round 4: Macau - Tigers 109-85

Bottom-ranked Thailand Tigers (0-3) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 109-85 loss to sixth ranked Macau Macau (0-3) in Macau. They also forced 20 Tigers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Isaiah Wade (201-1998, college: UCO) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import DeQuan Abrom (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) contributed with 31 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Macau players scored in double figures. American-Armenian forward Arizona Reid (196-1986, college: High Point) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Jermale Jones (185-1986, college: Tuskegee) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Tigers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Macau went down to seventh position due to points difference, which they share with defeated Tigers. Macau will again play against bottom-ranked Tigers (#8) in Bangkok in the next round. Tigers will play on the road against Valientes in Zamboanga City and hope to get finally their first victory.
