Regular Season Round 23: Seoul Thunders - KCC Egis 58-68

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked KCC Egis (15-15) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Seoul Thunders (10-21) 68-58 on Sunday. It was a great evening for the former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. The former international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-1992) helped adding 10 points and 10 rebounds. Four KCC Egis players scored in double figures. American-Lebanese power forward Jonathan Arledge (207-1991, college: ODU, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and forward Jinyoung Kim (193-1998) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KCC Egis maintains fifth place with 15-15 record. Seoul Thunders lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 21 games lost. KCC Egis will meet higher ranked Mobis Phoebus (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Seoul Thunders will play against Wonju DB (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
