There was a surprise result in Ulsan where eighth ranked Wonju DB (12-15) beat higher ranked Mobis Phoebus (15-13) 94-90 on Saturday. Wonju DB dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Mobis Phoebus' 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international forward SangJae Kang (202-1994) fired 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international center Jongkyu Kim (207-1991) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Gaige Prim (203-1999, college: Missouri St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the former international forward Woosuk Lee (196-1999) added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Mobis Phoebus' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Wonju DB maintains eighth position with 12-15 record, which they share with KoGas. Loser Mobis Phoebus keep the fourth place with 13 games lost. Wonju DB will meet at home league's second-placed LG Sakers in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Mobis Phoebus will play against the league's leader Anyang having rather not much hope for a victory.
