Important game to mention about took place in Daegu. Seventh ranked Goyang (13-15) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 4th ranked Mobis Phoebus (15-13) 80-77 on Thursday evening. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and the former international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-1991) supported him with 22 points. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by the former international center Jae-Sok Jang (205-1991) did not help to save the game for Mobis Phoebus. American forward Gaige Prim (203-1999, college: Missouri St.) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mobis Phoebus' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Goyang moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KCC Egis. Mobis Phoebus at the other side keep the fourth position with 13 games lost. Goyang will play against KoGas (#9) in Inchon in the next round. Mobis Phoebus will play at home against the league's leader Anyang (#1) and hope to get back on the winning track.
