Rather expected game when 7th ranked Goyang (11-15) lost to fifth ranked KCC Egis (13-14) in Jeonju 72-79 on Tuesday. KCC Egis outrebounded Goyang 36-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-1992) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four KCC Egis players scored in double figures. The former international Lee Jung-Hyun (190-1999) came up with 17 points and 5 assists and American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Goyang in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KCC Egis maintains fifth place with 13-14 record. Goyang lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with KoGas and Wonju DB. KCC Egis will meet at home higher ranked Seoul Knights (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
