Regular Season Round 21: Wonju DB - Anyang 70-86

KBL top team - Anyang (20-7) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they beat seventh ranked Wonju DB (11-15) 86-70. Anyang dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Wonju DB's 40. Anyang forced 19 Wonju DB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) accounted for 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Ethan Albano (185-1996) came up with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international center Jongkyu Kim (207-1991) added 14 points respectively for Wonju DB in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Anyang. They maintain first place with 20-7 record. Wonju DB at the other side keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with KoGas and Goyang. Anyang will meet at home Suwon KT (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Wonju DB will play against Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan and hope to secure a win.
