Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Seoul: Seoul Knights (#4) and Seoul Thunders (#7). Seoul Knights (13-12) smashed visiting Seoul Thunders (10-16) by 18 points 82-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Seoul Thunders. Seoul Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Seoul Thunders' 36. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) notched a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) supported him with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 21 rebounds by American forward Emanuel Terry (206-1996, college: LMU) did not help to save the game for Seoul Thunders. The former international forward Jung-Hyun Lee (191-1987) added 11 points. Seoul Thunders' coach Sang-Min Lee tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Seoul Knights have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 13-12 record. Loser Seoul Thunders dropped to the ninth place with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
