An interesting game for Pilots (8-3) which played against one of their biggest challengers Fubon Braves (7-6). Second ranked Pilots managed to get a 5-point victory 90-85. Pilots made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Fubon Braves turnovers and outrebounded them 57-43 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fubon Braves were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Jeff Ayres (206-1987, college: Arizona St., agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The former international center Hsiang-Chun Tseng (205-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pilots have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-3 record behind leader Kings. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the third place with six games lost.
