The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked KoGas' (10-12) home loss to fifth ranked Seoul Knights (12-12) 73-78 on Tuesday. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 6 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Loser KoGas keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. Seoul Knights will meet higher ranked Mobis Phoebus (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KoGas will play against Suwon KT in Busan and hope to secure a win.
