Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Tachikawa (6-16) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Saitama (17-5) 85-69 on Sunday. Saitama made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Saitama outrebounded Tachikawa 43-30 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-1991, college: Boise St., agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 22 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and his fellow American import Grant Sitton (206-1993, college: Victoria) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds.
