B3 League top team - Kagoshima (20-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Shinagawa (0-22) in Renova 86-62. Kagoshima forced 19 Shinagawa turnovers. American forward Logan Routt (211-1997, college: WVU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Anthony Gaines Jr (195-1993, college: LCU) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Four Kagoshima players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ryota Nagasawa (189-1997) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kagoshima have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-2 record, which they share with Shizuoka. Shinagawa at the other side still closes the standings. Kagoshima is looking forward to face Iwate (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Shinagawa will play against Yokohama EX (#6) in Tokyo and hopes to get finally their first victory.
