Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Shinshu BW (11-10) beat on the road 8th ranked Shiga L-Stars (4-17) 83-69 on Sunday. The former international guard Yuta Okada (189-1998) stepped up and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American forward Josh Hawkinson (208-1995, college: WSU) chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The best for the losing side was American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import forward Kelvin Martin (196-1989, college: Charleston So.) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
