Regular Season Round 20: Kagoshima - Shinagawa 83-77

B3 League top team - Kagoshima (19-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Shinagawa (0-21) in Renova 83-77. They outrebounded Shinagawa 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Kagoshima players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American swingman Anthony Gaines Jr (195-1993, college: LCU) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Logan Routt (211-1997, college: WVU) who added 16 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Four Kagoshima players scored in double figures. American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-1990, college: NM State) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kagoshima have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-2 record, which they share with Shizuoka. Shinagawa at the other side still closes the standings. Kagoshima will again play against bottom-ranked Shinagawa (#16) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Shinagawa will have a break next round.
