Regular Season Round 13: Al Nassr - Al Wehda 74-66

An interesting game for Al Nassr (10-3) which hosted in Riyadh 4th placed Al Wehda (8-5). Second ranked Al Nassr managed to get a 8-point victory 74-66. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Al Wehda. They outrebounded Al Wehda 49-35 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Antonio Campbell (206-1994, college: Ohio) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds. Swingman Brandon Austin (198-1994, college: NW Florida St.) contributed with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Al Nassr players scored in double figures. Forward Dewayne Jackson (203-1990, college: Morgan St.) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Chauncey Collins (183-1995, college: TCU) added 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Al Wehda. Al Nassr maintains second place with 10-3 record having just one point less than leader Al Ahli, which they share with Ohod. Al Wehda at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Al Nassr is looking forward to face Al Taawoun (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Wehda will play against Ohod (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
