Regular Season Round 15: KoGas - Anyang 100-95

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Anyang (15-5) in Inchon on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked KoGas (10-10) 100-95. It was a great evening for American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Hyo-Geun Jeong (200-1993) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) with 27 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Junhyeong Byeon (186-1996) scored 21 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KoGas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Anyang at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. KoGas are looking forward to face league's second-placed LG Sakers in Changwon in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Anyang will play on the road against Suwon KT in Busan and is hoping to win this game.
