Everything could happen in Akita at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Aranmare A. and 13th ranked Haneda V. had identical 1-5 record. This time Aranmare A. used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Tokyo 82-58 on Saturday night. It was a great evening for guard Asuka Hiramatsu (162-1994) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Hitomi Kawase (174-1993) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side swingman Sayako Owase (177-1997) responded with 5 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Takano Hashikouta (168-1995) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aranmare A. (2-5) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Haneda V. keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Himeji E.. Aranmare A. will again meet at home Haneda V. (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Haneda V. will have a break next round.
