Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Tachikawa (4-14) lost to fourth ranked Yokohama EX (14-4) in Tokyo 61-76. American players dominated the game. Forward Jordan Faison (201-1994, college: CPP) stepped up and scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and center Baylee Steele (213-1997, college: Duquesne, agency: One Motive Sports) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Tristin Walley (201-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) responded with 9 points and 10 rebounds and forward Scott Blakney (203-1998, college: Montana) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Yokohama EX maintains fourth place with 14-4 record. Newly promoted Tachikawa keeps the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Yokohama EX will play against league's leader Kagoshima in Renova in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tachikawa will play on the road against Yamaguchi (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
