The game in Bandar Seri Begawan supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked NS Matrix (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Pegasus (2-9). NS Matrix smashed Pegasus 118-86. They outrebounded Pegasus 72-44 including a 26-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. NS Matrix players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by Filipino point guard Jeff Viernes (172-1989) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 49 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 5 assists and center Sharwin Siva (208-2002) supported him with 14 points and 21 rebounds. Four NS Matrix players scored in double figures. Even 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Filipino forward Andrian Celada (190-1988) did not help to save the game for Pegasus. Guard Jia-Jun Lee (180-1999) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. NS Matrix moved-up to second place. Pegasus lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost.
