Regular Season Round 8: Kings - Steelers 95-115

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Kings (5-2) against sixth ranked Steelers on Sunday night. Steelers were rolled over by sixth ranked Steelers (1-6) 115-95. American power forward Terrence Jones (206-1992, college: Kentucky) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Chin-Min Yang (190-1984) added 23 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Kings. Five Steelers and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Steelers maintains sixth position with 1-6 record. Kings at the other side still keep top place with two games lost. They share the position with Fubon Braves. Steelers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kings' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Taipei Fubon Braves.
