No shocking result in a game in Matsuyama where second ranked Nagasaki (13-6) defeated 4th ranked Ehime OV (10-9) 80-72 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman L.J. Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American-German power forward Ryan Kriener (208-1998, college: Iowa) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198-1990, college: LBSU) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Nagasaki have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Nagasaki maintains second position with 13-6 record having just one point less than leader Saga B. Ehime OV lost fourth consecutive game.
