The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Tokyo Z's (3-15) road loss to sixth ranked Fukushima (6-12) 57-88 on Saturday. Fukushima looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Tokyo Z's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-1990, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Finnish-American power forward Erik Murphy (208-1990, college: Florida) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side point guard Tsubasa Kurihara (180-1997) responded with 13 points and American power forward Reginald Buckner (206-1991, college: Ole Miss) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fukushima maintains sixth position with 6-12 record. Tokyo Z lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Bambitious N..
