Important game to mention about was the one when third ranked Suns (3-2) saved a 3-point victory edging 5th ranked GhostHawks (1-3) 96-93 on Saturday evening. Suns dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to GhostHawks' 30. Suns forced 19 GhostHawks turnovers. Strangely GhostHawks outrebounded Suns 57-42 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (202-1989, college: Texas St., agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Iranian-British center Aaron Geramipoor (213-1992, college: Seton Hall) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Maltese center Samuel Deguara (230-1991) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-1991) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for GhostHawks. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. GhostHawks' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Suns moved-up to second place. GhostHawks at the other side dropped to the bottom position with three games lost. Suns will play against Leopards (#5) in Taoyuan in the next round. GhostHawks will have a break next round.
