Regular Season Round 10: Seoul Knights - Wonju DB 85-81

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Wonju DB (6-8) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Seoul Knights (6-9) 85-81 on Saturday. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) chipped in 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Dewan Hernandez (211-1997, college: Miami, FL) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and guard Ethan Albano (185-1996) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Wonju DB players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains eighth position with 6-9 record. Wonju DB lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Suwon KT. Seoul Knights will meet higher ranked Goyang (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Wonju DB will play against KCC Egis in Jeonju and hope to secure a win.
