The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Seoul Knights' (4-9) home loss to seventh ranked Suwon KT (5-7) 69-81 on Sunday. Suwon KT outrebounded Seoul Knights 50-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Seong-Woo Jeong (178-1993) chipped in 15 points and 8 assists. Five Suwon KT players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Il-Young Heo (197-1985) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Suwon KT maintains seventh place with 5-7 record. Defending champion Seoul Knights dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. Suwon KT will meet at home higher ranked LG Sakers (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Seoul Knights will play against Wonju DB (#6) and hope to secure a win.
