Regular Season Round 7: Liders - Dynamo 80-95

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Dynamo (5-1) defeated on the road 6th ranked Liders (2-4) 95-80 on Saturday. Dynamo forced 22 Liders turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Zach Lofton (193-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Senegalese forward Ibrahima Thomas (213-1987, college: Cincinnati, agency: BIG) helped adding 19 points and 5 rebounds. Dynamo's coach Jad El Hajj used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Youssef Ghantous (191-1996) responded with 22 points and 6 assists and Mike Haddad scored 19 points. Dynamo maintains third place with 5-1 record behind leader Beirut Club, which they share with Al Riyadi. Newly promoted Liders dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Atlas and NSA. Dynamo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Liders will play against NSA (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
