Regular Season Round 12: Kagawa FA - Ehime OV 58-79

Rather predictable result in Takamatsu where second ranked Ehime OV (10-5) smashed 6th ranked Kagawa FA (5-10) 79-58 on Friday. They outrebounded Kagawa FA 45-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Ehime OV looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American-German power forward Ryan Kriener (208-1998, college: Iowa) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Ehime OV players scored in double figures. Ehime OV's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Australian center Angus Brandt (208-1989, college: Oregon St.) who recorded 23 points and 9 rebounds and Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-1996) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Ehime OV keeps a position of league leader. Kagawa FA at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
