Bottom-ranked Shinagawa is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 12th consecutive match to eleventh ranked Yamaguchi (5-7) 93-74. Haitian-American forward Jeff Coby (203-1994, college: Columbia, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 18 points and 10 rebounds. Five Yamaguchi players scored in double figures. American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-1990, college: NM State) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Shinagawa's coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Yamaguchi. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Kanazawa and Shanan Utd. Shinagawa lost their twelfth game in a row. They still close the standings with 12 games lost. Yamaguchi will play against higher ranked Yokohama EX (#3) in Tokyo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Shinagawa will play at home against Okayama (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
