Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Tokyo HT (6-5) beat at home 12th ranked Veertien Mie (3-8) 84-73 on Saturday. Tokyo HT looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Veertien Mie's players. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Robert Sampson (203-1992, college: Georgia Tech) had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Justin Baker (203-1989, college: Utah Valley) chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Worth to mention Sampson played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball.
